Employee retention refers to an Organization's efforts and strategies to retain its employees and prevent them from leaving the company voluntarily. It is a critical aspect of Human Resource Management as retaining skilled and experienced employees is often more cost-effective and beneficial than recruiting and training new ones and creating an environment where employees feel valued, engaged, and motivated to contribute to the long-term success of the Organization.
